The Congressional Black Caucus and the Congressional Hispanic Caucus is hosting a panel discussion and film screening of HBOSports Student Athlete at Capitol Hill on April 2, 2019 from 6PM to 9PM. Join the award-winning panel for a special conversation about the exploitative world of college sports, the rules of amateur athletics, and how Rep. Al Lawson’s bill -- the NCAA Advancement Act of 2019 -- would change the student-athlete landscape. This event would be great for anyone interested in professional/college sports, sports medicine, policy, sociology, public health, film, etc.
